Our breakfast is served between 08h00 and 09h30 and includes homemade bread, brioche and cake. Butter, homemade jams, honey, homemade yoghourts, fresh fruit and a  traditional Swiss "Birchermüsli" all freshly prepared. For those that prefer something more traditional there is also eggs, an assortment of cheeses and cold cuts available. All of this is of course accompanied  by fresh juices, black- green or herbal tea and/or  a good cup of coffee.

Twice a week you have the option to enjoy Barbaras cooking and spend a pleasant evening amongst other travellers. Every Tuesday and Friday we invite you to join our traditional “Table d’hôte”. Dinner is an informal three course affaire, with wine and coffee or tea in our garden, or around our kitchen table. If your arrival falls on one of these days and you would like to have dinner with us, please let us know at least 2 days in advance. Subsequent dinners can be booked “sur place”. However, we do have a minimum of 4 people, and reservations can therefore only be confirmed the day before. Vegetarian option are of course also available! Sundays and Mondays we also offer some delicious “take-away” platters for those that rather prefer a light dinner. Again reservations are required and vegetarian options are available.

For those days where you prefer to enjoy your lunch in the great outdoors, we can offer you our delicious picnic baskets. Served in our eco friendly containers you can enjoy Barbaras homemade salads, regular or vegetarian sandwiches on our homemade bread, a slice of cake, a fruit as well as a beverage of your choice. This is an ideal solution while hiking, boating or even travelling to your next destination.

We have five rooms and each one is completely different. They all share the same level of luxury, but some are smaller others are bigger. Some with a terrace some without. There are common lounge areas outside, either in the courtyard or next to the lavender field. Some rooms also have their own private terrace. We are also here to help you plan your day if you wish. Maps and other information are readily available. During the day, quite often we are not around since we are only a two man show and have to run errands. But as of 5pm we are always available to you and love to share your adventures and maybe a cold drink.

Our family apartment or “gîte” as it is called in France is at the other end of the building but part of La Colombiere. It stretches over two levels and has two direct and private entrances. There is a small terrace in the back which is yours only, with a BBQ, outside dining area and two lounge chairs. It’s a great set up for families and you are completely independent, but if you like, we are of course here for you to help with your days planning. Just come on over, our doors are open.!

Our cabanon is in fact an old goat shed and is well over a hundred years old. It has been lovingly renovated and runs completely off the grid. It is located half an hour from us just outside the small village of Puimoisson. Surrounded by lavender fields, overlooking the plateau de Valensole. No neighbours, no noise. There are towels and sheets provided, there is a fridge with a small freezer. If you need us we are only a phone call away, but usually Tom just shows you the place when you arrive and might check on you and the house half way through your stay. Other then that you're on your own.

 We will freshen up your room daily, change your towels if needed and restock your minibar and coffee corner. Other than that we respect your privacy.

Even though we have a nice and heated swimming-pool available to our guest, we encourage everybody to explore one of our five beautiful lakes around us where swimming, boating and other water activities can be enjoyed. The closest, Lac Saint Laurent is just a 20 minute walk or a 2 min drive from us. Maybe a bit cooler than the others, but inviting nevertheless with its individual little beaches. Lac Montpezat, right next to it is the starting point to explore the magical “Gorge du Baudinard”. With a surface of 2200 hectares Lac Saint Croix is the biggest of them all and enchants visitor with is incredible colours and it many watersport options. It stretches from the mouth of The Verdon Canyon all the way to the dam, built at the other end of the “Gorges du Baudinard”. Lac Esparron and lac de Quinson complete the picture towards the South, each offering different activities and adventures for everyone. 

Barbara and I love almost all animals. :-) However, our fee for your little "friend" is € 7.- per night/animal and since we sometimes have other pets on the premises there are also a few basic rules we would like you to be aware of. The pet is the sole responsibility of the owner and needs to be under direct supervision and on a leash at all times, unless left in the room. He/she is further not allowed in the rest of the house such as our kitchen, living room and reception. And we are sure you agree, that any damage caused by your "pet" is your responsibility.
